Then there’s the way the chickens are being raised, allowed to run around and enjoy themselves rather than being cooped up in far from humane conditions leading to what can only be described as a miserable existence.


Pictured above is our Meat Bird Kit, a combination of the Safeguard Run and Lenham 705 Chicken House, both of which put together provide a very secure shelter and a nice large area for your chickens to run about in.


With fully removable sidewalls the Lenham 705 also makes your life a lot easier with excellent access for cleaning out, and a large door at the front means you have the flexibility to keep whatever type of fowl you want.

Aids the younger birds into the house. Helps prevent puddling at the entrance.

Second Pophole

A second pophole in the back gable allows dual access especially handy with split runs.

Acclimatising Wall

(L703-L705) A semi permanent wire wall that sits behind the removable side wall. Used to harden off young birds and to introduce new birds to the house.

Electric Fencing

Give the fox a shock, a system of netting that can be simply and quickly erected around the house. Energised by battery or transformer.

Gizmo

(L703-L705) Opens an auxillary pophole door automatically at day break and shuts it at night.

A water based, clear finish treatment which can be applied to damp timbers, is animal safe and durable enough to be recommended by the manufacturer for marine use.
