3 Little Piggys
Well the piggys are here!!! (3 berkshires if you want their correct title.) We have decided to get the pigs for 2 reasons,
1. I think we all have a hankering when we watch the likes of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Jimmy’s Farm to have a go ourselves albeit on a very very small scale
2. My own little revolt to the supermarkets.
I have gone for the berkshires because they are a traditional breed and the farmer I got them from comes once a week to get his feed from the feed merchants next door, when you talk to Terry the farmer it is in plain english and he speaks with a passion about this breed, anyway back to the pigs.
They love their new home which I will update you about next time.
